Slots Tournaments at Spin Genie Alberta
A leaderboard has a way of making the reels a little more interesting. Our slots tournaments add a pinch of friendly competition, with rankings based on results in the featured games. Many events cost nothing to enter, while buy-in tournaments usually start at around $1, so there's a seat at the table for just about everyone aged 18 or older.
What Is a Slots Tournament, Anyway?
Picture a leaderboard hovering cheerfully above your favourite slot games. That's the heart of it. A slots tournament is a time-limited event where participants play selected games and earn a position on the board based on their results. Some tournaments last a single day, others a weekend or a whole week, and the featured games might be a themed collection or one shiny new release.
The Genie's golden rule: peek at the Terms and Conditions before you join. They list the eligible games, how ranking is calculated (biggest single win, largest multiplier, and so on) and everything else worth knowing. A well-informed player is a happy player.
How to Join In
Step 1: Opt In
Wander over to the tournament tab in the Daily Picks section to see what's on. A tap of 'join' enters you into a no-cost event; 'buy-in' does the honours for paid ones. Buy-in fees come out of your balance right away, and if you top up to cover one, anything beyond the entry fee stays snug in your account.
Step 2: Play the Featured Games
Once you're in, a pop-up reveals the eligible game or games. Depending on the format, you'll have a time window or a set number of spins to make your mark. After that, it's all down to luck, as it always is.
Step 3: Peek at the Leaderboard
The leaderboard updates in real time on the tournaments tab, with each event's remaining time and entry details covered in its Terms and Conditions.

A Friendly Word From the Genie
Tournaments are about the fun of taking part. They don't change how any game pays out, and every outcome is decided purely by chance. Set a budget you're comfortable with before joining, keep the games a light-hearted pastime, and remember to take a breather now and again. Play responsibly.
Disclaimer: The bonuses offered do not increase your chances of winning. All outcomes of games are determined by random chance, and no bonuses can influence the results in your favour. We encourage all players to use and claim promotions responsibly.
